On February 11th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Implementation Plan for High-Quality Development of the Copper Industry (2025-2027)", proposing to increase domestic copper ore resources by 5%-10% by 2027. The plan also sets requirements for the digital and intelligent transformation of copper mining companies, copper smelters, and copper processing plants. This includes the digital transformation of mining and processing equipment such as mining trucks, drills, rock drilling jumbos, loaders, and flotation machines, as well as other infrastructure. This is expected to further accelerate the automation process of China's copper mining industry.
