On March 25, the Solar & Storage Live Africa 2025 exhibition opened grandly at the Johannesburg Convention Center. The three-day event sparked a wave of enthusiasm for green energy and technological innovation. INVT showcased a range of star products, attracting numerous visitors, industry experts, and business partners. The INVT booth became a popular spot with a lively atmosphere and active interactions.
As one of Africa's leading economies, South Africa has experienced rapid economic growth in recent years but continues to face severe challenges in electricity supply. Frequent power outages not only hinder industrial and commercial development but also disrupt daily life. However, South Africa’s abundant solar resources offer a natural advantage and cooperation opportunities for energy transition and sustainable development in the region.
Innovative Solutions for Multiple Scenarios
At the exhibition, INVT presented diverse solutions addressing energy storage needs across industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural sectors. These flexible, efficient, and secure solutions effectively tackle frequent power outages and energy shortages faced by regions like South Africa.
Small and Medium-Sized Commercial Energy Storage Solution
The XD30-60KTR three-phase hybrid inverter supports high-power modules with a 1.6x DC/AC design, reducing the cost per kilowatt-hour. It is compatible with large battery cells featuring higher energy density and has a dual-battery input design for easy future expansion. Equipped with a generator interface and Smart Load function, it seamlessly switches to off-grid mode during power outages in milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operations and minimizing economic losses.
Low-Voltage Stackable Energy Storage Solution
The XD3-6KTL-PRO single-phase energy hybrid inverter is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses and residential use. It supports 120A charging and discharging, is compatible with 700W+ solar panels, and ensures continuous power with an EPS switching time of less than 10ms. With AFCI protection for enhanced safety, dual on-grid/off-grid modes, and an integrated GEN port, it offers flexible energy solutions for South African households.
Low-Voltage Wall-Mounted Energy Storage Solution
The XD7-10KTL single-phase hybrid inverter features a wall-mounted design to save space, making it suitable for typical South African homes. With a rated power of 10kW, it supports hybrid solar and grid charging, providing stable and reliable household electricity while enhancing user experience.
Solar Pump Solution
The GD100-PV solar pump inverter offers high-efficiency MPPT tracking, supports both single-phase and three-phase pumps, and automatically adjusts parameters. With hybrid solar/grid input and integrated water level control, it prevents dry running. This solution is ideal for irrigation in South Africa’s arid regions, reducing water costs.
The SP100 solar pump inveter supports up to 900V DC input, allowing flexible solar panel configuration. It features an LCD display, IP66 protection rating, and is efficient, compact, and easy to maintain—making it well-suited for areas with water scarcity and harsh environments.
Working Together for a Greener Future
South Africa is a key strategic hub for INVT in the African market. Through this exhibition, INVT introduced advanced photovoltaic and energy storage technologies to the region, supporting local energy optimization and promoting sustainable development. Moving forward, INVT will continue to invest in R&D and expand its market presence in South Africa, working with local partners to build a cleaner, more efficient, and reliable energy future.
