On January 6, according to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the global manufacturing PMI in December 2024 was 49.5%, showing a slight increase for two consecutive months. By region, the Asian manufacturing PMI remained stable at 51% or above for three consecutive months; the African manufacturing PMI rose month-on-month, surpassing 50%; the American manufacturing PMI also increased month-on-month but remained below 50%; while the European manufacturing PMI saw a slight month-on-month decline, staying below 47%.
