On January 10, according to a report by Xinhua News Agency, the United Nations predicts that the world economy will grow by 2.8% in 2025, the same as in 2024. It stated that although the global economy has shown some resilience, due to weak investment, sluggish productivity growth, and high debt, global economic growth remains below the pre-COVID-19 pandemic average of 3.2%. However, declining inflation and the continued implementation of monetary easing policies in many economies may provide a moderate boost to global economic activity in 2025.
