Abstract: This paper mainly presents INVT EC160 intelligent integrated machine for residence lift in India. It gives the detailed solution for residence elevator and commissioning details. Engineering practice shows that INVT EC160 intelligent integrated machine has good control performance and stability on lift application.

I. Introduction
With the fast development of the construction, as a vertical transport tool, elevator is becoming more and more important. The current system in India market which use simple control board and general purpose inverter as a drive, can’t satisfy the user and not suitable for the high buildings.
EC160 elevator intelligent integrated machine is a new elevator intelligent control system developed under the design concept that integrates drive, control and network communication together. It adopts advanced closed loop vector control technology, elevator intelligent control technology and network communication technology, intelligent elevator drive, control and management together. It’s the complete and advanced solution for Indian lift market.

• The initiate open PLC programming controller: provide the shifting/changing function for some terminals and further development platform for the user
• Hand terminal: stand-alone human-machine interface, on-line Chinese/English help system; functions of debugging management, debugging trace management, parameters uploading/downloading, computer data copying
• The hand terminal can be connected to the CAN interface in the car for convenient parameters setting
• Add TCP/IP internet module for remote debugging and control
• Support remote control of TCP/IP protocol
II. Configuration of residence lift
Normally, in India, residence lift has floors less than 8 floors. The mechanical is similar as the commercial lift. To the electrical system, rated power is lower because of low capacity such as 6 persons, in which case, 4KW system is most popular. 4. Advantages
• Intelligent integrated: EC160 is the combination of controller and inverter.

• Easy debugging: LCD operator with 10 rows display can show all the running state information. It makes debugging easier.
• ARD function: With single phase 220VAC UPS, EC160 can run to the nearest floor and open the door when grid power is off.
