On June 17, the new factory of Siemens numerical control (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (SNC) was officially put into operation in Nanjing. As Siemens' first native digital chemical plant in the world, SNC can increase the production capacity by nearly 2 times, increase the production efficiency by 20%, increase the flexible production capacity by 30%, shorten the time to market by nearly 20%, increase the space utilization rate by 40%, and improve the material flow efficiency by 50%.
Mr. Kunlin Xu, governor of Jiangsu Province, said, "the operation of Siemens' original digital chemical plant will further promote the development of digital economy in our province, and he hoped that Siemens could rely on its own advantages, seize development opportunities, play a demonstration and leading role, and constantly inject new impetus into the transition, upgrading and innovative development of manufacturing industry in our province."
